Sam is an NYC-based character and costume designer, concept artist, illustrator, craftsperson, and artistic jack-of-all-trades whose experience in theatre and film informs their detailed, narrative-focused designs and character-driven costumes. They adore fantasy, paranormal, and supernatural stories, especially those about folklore, fate, self discovery, human relationships, and finding magic in unexpected places.

When they aren't working, they enjoy archery, armor making, drawing (of course), trying out new handicrafts, playing online pet games, and bothering their cats.

They graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2021 with a degree in Costume Design and a minor in Animation, and are currently working as a freelance character designer and illustrator while looking for full-time employment. Previous work includes the "Quantum Cowboys" (2022) and work on live-action shows for studios like Netflix, Showtime, and NBC.
